Marco created this bespoke TreePod light for Beluga Loves You, a boutique Hotel in Maastricht.

The base of the lamp is made from ancient oak which, after plaining, sanding and brushing, the base is waxed and oiled to bring out its charming character.

The striking white shade is made from coarsely woven fiberglass cloth and combined with acrylic composite. The structure, of the shade, allows light to pass through it in a subtle way and creates a beautiful aesthetic.  The shade has been designed to complement the shape and structure of Marco’s statement Treepod base.
